Hi. I was poking around on Dreamwidth looking for people with common interests and I found your journal over there. It looks like we've got a lot in common literature-wise (I'm about to start grad school as a Romanticist) and coincidence-wise (my sister is actually an alumna of Longwood) so I thought I'd give you a shout.

I'm mostly over at aemelia.dreamwith.org, but I do crosspost a lot of stuff to my LJ and, of course, read my f-list over here, too. Add me if you like, but no pressure.

Thanks,
Emily

Hi Emily,

I am terrible about replying to things in a timely fashion, particularly since I've been in the throes of my M.A. exams. But now I'm done and have some free time, and I want to say I'm very excited to read your thoughts and hang out with another Romanticist. :D I've added you here and on Dreamwidth (which I don't check regularly, but am getting better about it, especially with the aforementioned new free time thing.

Thanks for getting in touch with me, and I'm looking forward to reading your posts!

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for adding me. It's so cool that you turned out to be another Romanticist! We MUST geek out -- once you're recovered from your exams, of course.

PS. Your icon, I am dead of it.
